Reasons why rental bonds are not returned

There are several reasons why the rental voucher cannot be returned in full. However, we will leave here the 3 most common ones.

1. Property Damage: If there has been significant damage to the property during the rental period, part of the security deposit may be retained to cover repair costs.

2. Unsatisfactory Cleaning: If the property is not returned in a proper state of cleanliness, a portion of the deposit may be deducted to cover the costs of professional cleaning. This includes cleaning carpets, appliances, windows, bathrooms, etc.

3. Loss of keys or remotes: If all keys, remotes or other devices provided at the beginning of the lease are not returned, a portion of the deposit may be retained to replace or change the locks.

It is important to read and understand the rental agreement before signing it, to ensure that you comply with all the clauses and to avoid any situation that could affect the return of the deposit.
